Prepare for War guarantees your ally won't join your war Posted: 28 Nov 2021 12:37 AM PST In my latest game I used the prepare for war Favor for the first time in a long time, since favors are so easy to come I thought why not, then while raising maintenance I noticed my ally was getting military access to my land which I thought was strange since I didn't remember that happening in the past, finally I go to declare war and my ally won't join due to it destabilizing their country, because they have military access with the country I'm declaring on making the prepare for war action completely counter intuitive to what its supposed to do. Why is Portugal so ahistoric in eu4? Posted: 28 Nov 2021 11:56 AM PST When the colonization starts, Portugal always ends up with an equal share of the Americas as Spain/Castile does. Irl they only got Brazil. This isn't a major problem for me, but still it looks off. The colonization part of the game is completely broken on its own anyways, Alaska and some other areas being fully colonized by 1600 is just stupid, and they always get colonized by Portugal or Spain. England in eu4 never ends up being as powerful as they did irl too, speaking on the colonial aspect. The game makes out Portugal to be waay to equal to much bigger nations in the game honestly [link] [comments] | ||
