TIL that if you zoom far enough onto the trade routes, you can see small ships, and if you hover over them you can see what they carry and from nation they are! It also works for land routes which have small horse-drawn carriages!

pointless post. but damn this game is really fuckin good. I used to be really into Civ. But this game scratches that itch so much better. I'm a relative noob, this is my fifth game only, and my first run where I actually bother colonizing (As Bengal through the pacific) and it's just great fun. Now that I understand trade and development better, I'm able to dominate the Moluccas and push loads of ducats through. Honestly hats off to the devs of this game because I keep finding more and more interesting things about it the deeper I go.

About to form Germany as Prussia for the first time should I abandon the prussian traditions?

    Posted: 06 Jul 2021 09:39 AM PDT

So I have completed all prussian missions except unite home region (missing a few from austria who I am about to betray). When I finish diplo annexing Munich in a year I will have the decision to form germany however i really like the bonuses of playing as Prussia and was wondering if I should stick with the prussian bonuses or abandon them? What are the german ones? are they better for conquering the rest of southern Germany? (my end goal for this playthrough)

    Let me know!

100 years into my first game, playing France. Nearly rage-quit twice 20 years in because England, Castille and Portugal teamed up to stomp me. I've almost unified vassals and I kicked Burgundy back to the Stone Age. Now I just wish it hadn't taken me so long to start playing this game.
