Posted: 30 Nov 2019 09:32 AM PST I have had the game since launch and have over 2K hours logged (which is kinda depressing) and despite whatever new game catches my attention for a little while, no game has kept me as invested longer than EU4 (CK2 is close 2nd but only 1700 hours logged since launch). Last night I was reminded why I keep coming back to it. I'm my current game, the Protestant revolution started in France in 1518 (way later than I have ever had it fire), Mecklenburg is dominating North Germany, Scotland has crushed England, and Sapmi (the Sami country in far north Scandinavia) not only broke free from a badly beaten Novgorod, but managed to conquer much of Karelia. I love that even after 2K hours of playing, I can still be shocked by events. (Sorry no pic, simply musing while waiting for flight) [link] [comments] | ||
