Ironman pre-1700 WC foiled by making EU4 a taskbar icon

Prior to my final WC session, I decided to make EU4 a taskbar icon not knowing it would start EU4 in offline mode if steam wasn't open on your computer. Because the client didn't give any warnings and the Ironman's fist was active in the main menu I didn't realize this until the final month.

Here is the save file page in EU4 with the Ironman symbol one month out from World Conquest:https://imgur.com/8eFS5TE

Here is the home screen with the auto-load last playthrough option not giving any signs of Ironman being disabled:https://imgur.com/zmFlUyv
