    Loan question

    Posted: 30 Oct 2021 10:13 PM PDT

If you take out loans from another country, as opposed to your own central bank, and then make it so that country no longer exists, does your debt disappear?

Today I learned about control groups

    Posted: 30 Oct 2021 09:20 PM PDT

I am 963 hours into this game.

I have been playing strategy games since Warcraft II and C&C.

I don't know why it never occurred to me that EUIV had control groups. In my current Prussia game I kept losing my armies amidst all the chaos, finally decided to just try ctrl+1 and lo and behold, I've been missing out for nearly 1000 hours of gameplay.

Is it even possible to beat the Ottomans?

    Posted: 31 Oct 2021 11:51 AM PDT

The year is 1514, I was playing as France and my ally, Poland, called me into a war against the Ottomans.

I decided to bunch my army up to make a stack of 50 regiments along with a pretty decent general.

The first battle was against a 14k army. And I lost.

So here I am. Dazed. Discombobulated. Confused as to how this could've occurred and what could I do to help my poor army?

Guys, the name of the element "copper" literally comes from Cyprus island as it have vast copper mines. Yet in eu4 province produces Wine. Does it also bother you?

I play as Desmond, and my goal is to form Ireland. Unfortunately, England has taken half of it, and they wanted my provinces. So since 1460 I just was sitting and praying that it doesnt eat me. And it happened. Brits declared war upon me. They have PU with Castille. Now, they have taken some my colonies (I transported all my army to protect homeland) and were trying to land in Ireland, without succes. I looks like Im fucked up. Now they focus on France and colonies, but soon they will turn their 100k army at me. What to do?
