What is the first nation you played? Posted: 17 Nov 2021 09:02 AM PST For me it's Ulm and it's not even a joke. I totally ignored suggested and easy nations that game offered me because I thought that the bigger nation means the bigger problem and Ulm seemed smol. Yeah, easy... I declared war on some country and then I didn't know how to sign a peace lmao and in this time I got attacked by 3 countries. I left game for 2 weeks and then attempted with Muscovy [link] [comments]

Why is the PLC so stupidly powerful Posted: 17 Nov 2021 07:19 AM PST Ive been playing a bunch of ironman recently, and in all of my games the commonwealth just seem to blob out like a massive pink stain on europe. so I played as Russia recently, and went to war with them in the late game to see what would happen. we were equal in army strength and tech, relatively equal ideas, Im pretty sure my army comp was relatively ok (4,1,4) as id just shredded the ottoman troops like tissue paper with the same parameters 4 years before this war. yet for some reason, no matter what I try my men get obliderated every time I fight them. I got stack wiped if I didn't have double their men in every battle. I wore there troops down with level 8 forts and ramparts on every province, they bassically shrugged off their 1.5 million dead to atrition like it was a bad headache. is it me, or are the Commonwealth (at least in terms of AI enemys) just completely broken [link] [comments]

Does eu4 actually have a genocide option? Posted: 17 Nov 2021 06:03 AM PST What is culture conversion for example? It sounds and looks like genociding but it doesnt require any mil. power. I mean attacking natives does and its closest thing to genocide in this game as i see. I've read something about this mechanic that says it actually changes the culture of aristocrats not the commoners and its a peacful action. A historians or an eu4 veterans opinion would be great . Oh and im only asking this for sake of role play. Im going to play as Japan and spread my superior culture to Korea and China. [link] [comments]
