How about an 'Abolish Slavery' CB? Posted: 04 Nov 2021 02:42 AM PDT With the upcoming 1.32 Update I think it'd be cool if we would get some sort of Abolish Slavery CB for nations having enacted the 'Abolish Slavery Act' decision. It'd be geared towards all nations that either have provinces producing slaves or have merchants present in trade nodes that profit from slave good production. The war goal could be take capital (or if possible occupy slave producing provinces), would have 25% AE, 200% prestitge and 100% cost, with ceding provinces being disabled. Upon victory, all slave producing provinces in the defending country would change to a random trade good and the country would be prohibited from having a merchant stationed in the aforementioned trade node for the duration of the truce. Additionally you would receive a positive relations modifier with other countries having enacted the 'Abolish Slavery Act'. I imagine it could add a lot more flavour to the colonialism phase of EU4 starting with dip tech 23 and could spice up playing nations in Africa and other regions high in slave producing provinces. It also would complement other more economic CBs like Trade Conflict, being viable to strategically secure trade and diplomatic opportunities. Besides, it's sad to see that as of now abolishing slavery doesn't do much ingame, being more of a side note, if anything, when historically it has been a major source of conflict. Thoughts? France, Russia, England, or Castile which is good for a chill campaign Posted: 04 Nov 2021 12:41 AM PDT Hello all, as the title states which of these countries is fun to play with after a stressful campaign, I want to have a chill game but I also want to dominate a certain region using any of these four countries. I'm still 32 hours into the game so any advice on these countries will be very helpful, thanks. [link] [comments]

What nation should I play to teach my dad? Posted: 04 Nov 2021 11:13 AM PDT My dad wants to learn how to play eu4 once the game goes on sale. I was wondering what's the best nation to play as in order to teach him about the basic mechanics? [link] [comments]
