    Hello. First of all, I don't mean to insult anyone or change someone's mind, I just can't understand why would you want to play on 1.31. I've tried it and I think it's just disgusting, most changes are for the worse. Concentrating dev makes a shithole basically a world metropolis within few dozen years, doubled innovativeness meant I got 20 within 20 years, I didn't even notice monuments, but I'm playing in regions without them really. Which is sad tbh, I really think they need to be more evenly spread out. I didn't even notice new natives. I'm probably missing a few important things, but this is what I noted. So really, what makes you want to play the newest patch?

    I love playing eu4. But I'm too good at single player due to having played, well a ton. I can do whatever I want (almost). At some point well before 1821 I'm unstoppable regardless of if I play with France, Kongo, the knights or whoever.

    Do any of you map painters have some suggestions for self imposed house rules to make the game more challenging and/or fun?

    (I have all dlc except Leviathan)
