I was playing a fun Persia game and had just finished a bloody war against Baluchistan which left me with 0 manpower.

My ally Ottomans called me into their war with Muscovy and allies. I paused the game and stared at the invitation for about five minutes. I accepted. No problem, I thought, Ottomans can probably handle this alone.

Then Afghanistan and Transoxiana declared on me. My allies Ottomans and Uzbek refused to join. It wasn't a big deal, I got some loans and some mercenaries and after a couple of years I had taken six of their fort provinces. I was up 22%. Meanwhile, the traitorous scum Ottomans were starting to rack up war score against Muscovy. I was feeling pretty good.

Then Mamluks declared on me and suddenly there were two 35k stacks just walking around my country. I attacked one of them with a 29k stack but lost the battle. I had a good look at the map, my provinces besieged, my manpower fucked, massively in debt, and just turned the laptop off.
