    So this started as a throught about the long desired dynamic trade routes but to expand on it further. Should rise of europe and imperialism be inevitable in the next EU game?

    Paradox seemed to have started to realise people like alt-history (especially around hoi4) and making it easier to none european nations to rise to become great powers would allow that to happen.

    Now I'm not saying every game should have the Aztecs taking over the Americas, but it could open more options.
