Why doesn't Hizen have a Centre of Trade? Posted: 05 Mar 2021 01:57 PM PST I want to preface this by saying that yes, I do know that this is an incredibly insignificant issue, but these sorts of things honestly bug me more than, well, bugs and the like, so I'm going to complain about it anyway. I've just started a playthrough as the Shoni clan as I want to create an independent Japanese trade/colonial empire that controls most of western Japan (up to Kyoto), and leaves the rest to whoever wins the daimyo wars. It struck me as odd however when I noticed Hizen doesn't have a CoT despite one of Shoni's ideas saying, and I quote: 'Northern Kyushu is full of good ports for foreign trade, but Nagasaki in Hizen province is arguably the best place of them all. Let us make this city our main gate towards the west.' If Nagasaki is arguably the best trading port in Northern Kyushu, then wouldn't it make sense to move the CoT in Chikuzen to the north down south? Ouchi doesn't need a CoT in both its starting provinces, so just move the less historically good port to Nagasaki instead, otherwise what's the point in even having an idea based on Nagasaki being the greatest port city in the region?
