You shouldn't be able to sail between Sri Lanka and India. Adam's Bridge prevents it. Posted: 24 Sep 2020 10:20 AM PDT There's a series of shoals between Sri Lanka and India that make navigation between them impossible for most large ocean-going boats. This was even more so the case 500 years ago. Apparently according to some temple records, Adam's Bridge was entirely above sea level until 1480. This means in 1444 especially ships should have to sail around Sri Lanka. [link] [comments]

Posted: 24 Sep 2020 01:48 PM PDT Historically there were other places in the world beyond these 3 that were highly fortified and able to hold out against aggressors. Ingame It would allow Byzantium, the Knights & Ashikaga from being killed almost immediately, and allowing the Sengoku Jidai to last longer. The Knight were a thorn in the side of the Ottomans for a long time, finally able to be defeated in 1522 with an Ottoman force almost 5.5x bigger than the defender. [link] [comments]
