My father(78y/o) needs help with a custom casus belli Posted: 11 Jul 2020 12:24 AM PDT My nephew(28) introduced this game to him about 2 weeks ago and my father seems to be playing it all the time. A few days ago he requested me if I knew a way to make a casus belli that would allow him to annex an entire nation if he completely occupied it in a war. He was really shy about asking it and now I want to help him. The problem is that I do not understand how this game works or how I can do this for him. I don't feel comfortable calling my nephew for such a trivial thing. I have been following this subreddit on this side account for a few days and I understand that this should have something to do with the game folders. I can copy and paste any coding required. I will be willing to pay the amount anyone requests in case it will be a lot of work. I just want someone to do it as early as possible cause I want my father to be happy in his old age. Thank you for reading and also mention this method in which you will accept payment. [link] [comments]

Council of Trent, useless to vote? Posted: 11 Jul 2020 03:06 AM PDT So I just had the Council of Trent fire. That seemed like a really useful flavory event to me. But alas, it is rather useless. 30 or so countries voted conciliatory, only the Pope and two others took the harsh stance. I thought: This will be great in combination with my Humanism. But alas. The Pope was Curia controller and of course they had 6000 gold in the treasury, because that always happens with an AI. In two months they had passed all four harsh reforms. Even with a 30ish-to-3 split. Now everybody is stuck with -80 opinion towards heretics. Even if you have Humanism. This does not seem right. Why have this mechanic at all if voting has no influence on the outcome whatsoever? It seems to me that if you have Humanism, the opinion malus shouldn't apply. Your opinions? Has it ever been fun for you? [link] [comments]
