    Being -1000 for not accepting the culture is stupid, just plain and simple. I tried to sell some of my Saxon carribean after I realized that there weren't enough provinces for a colonial nation. But no, portugal doesn't want the THREE CENTERS OF TRADE because they can't stand the idea of german people. It just doesn't make sense.

    I'm not brilliant at the game but I'm not completely terrible either, so I want to see how I would fare in a Byzantine campaign

    It's very hard to beat the Ottomans even with 4 allies. Sometimes I go over the diplo limit with alliances and I'll still fail. Are there any particular strategies that could work for me?
