So I just prematurely endend a fun and chill Qing campaign because the center of the Revolution spawned in China while I'm the emperor and I just discovered that means I can't become revolutionary, makes you wonder what was the point of the revolution in the first place.

Lübeck seriously has one of the most fun mission trees in the game

    Posted: 18 Jul 2020 06:02 AM PDT

I like the style of mission tree that has flavor and is semi-educational (I don't expect much of that from the map painting game, but I've learned a surprising amount from this game). The mission trees that are "go conquer all these, have free claims" are nice, but boring. Lübeck gets a bit more measured, but still fun expansion opportunities, and I've found myself able to consistently punch far above my weight as them. I love that the missions for smaller countries now have this flavor and sense of progression.
