So I was playing as Prussia with no special goal in mind. I was trying to resist myself from blobbing uncontrollably by creating vassals etc. After a while I got elected as Emperor (protestants won the religious war as usual) and I started sorting out the mess that the previous emperors had caused by uniting everyone under the protestant banner and expanding the HRE. Then my heir died for some stupid reason and eventually this led to a succession war erupting between the reformed Hohenzollerns of Austria and the orthodox Hohenzollerns of Russia. Russia had no allies and a worthless streltzy army (this is the early 18th century, ever heard about cannons duh?) Russia got stomped and I ended up under Austrian rule. Before being able to declare independence war they force-converted me to reformed and by that taking away my immediate chances on becoming the emperor after my independence. The rest of my game will only include the Prussian space marines destroying Austria and removing it from the map. Thank you Austria in giving me a goal for this playthrough.

Edit: The Ottomans who "helped me" win my independence (they had just fought a war in eastern Asia and their armies were not to be seen. They Peaced out early on and left me alone vs a big Austria) decided not to join a defensive war vs Bohemia which meant that I lost my only powerful ally. I won rather easily over Bohemia but my three vassals saw my dwindling manpower and got high liberty desire. They allied eachother and attacked. Right after that Lübeck and friends attacked aaaand I'm gone. It's in the 1770's so I'll just quit.
