1600 is the End Date of EU4 and Spawning Global Trade is the Win Con

I personally rarely go past 1600 and the one time I tried to finish a game out to 1821 I gave up at about 1730 cause the game got too pointless. That said, Global Trade is a great point to end because:

1-The game doesn't lag much before Global Trade (excluding the league war which is like 5 years long). At least for me the game runs quite smoothly.

2-It's the only institution that is fully controllable. Every other one at best can be optimized for but not guaranteed (kinda on colonialism but that's too early to be an end point anyway).

3-It's difficult as most countries but achievable anywhere. Between the Channel, Genoa, Venice, Sevilla, Lubeck, Novgorod, Constantinople, Alexandria, Zanzibar, Gujarat, Coromandel, Gujarat, Malacca, Nippon, and Beijing, basically every part of the world has a good trade node. Basically every country that controls 3 or more trade nodes should be able to spawn it with enough work. For that matter, I've been able to spawn the institution on Lhasa with a custom nation and Timbuktu as Songhai.

4-It's a good show of success. Unless you're England, Portugal, Spain, or the Netherlands, it'll take some work to spawn global trade. Usually it means slapping manufactories on most of your provinces, spending quite a bit of production dev, and control of at least 3 trade nodes. It's a nice mini-challenge to show that the game was a win.

5-It's got the dopamine rush at the end. Nothing like seeing the 100 admin, 100 diplo, 100 mil, and permanent modifier, even if you're not gonna use it since the game's over.
