Development Diary - 19th October 2021
Didn’t quite achieve my goal of reforming the Roman Empire, but I got some pretty good name placement in the process
As Russia I have no idea how to fight Horders. I can start a war with 100k manpower, 1000 ducats, and alien space weapons and end the war with 0 manpower, 5000 ducats in loans, and exist in a technological stone age.
So apparently the crusades were about... forming a huge Brewing Imperium? (I formed Jerusalem as the Knights- followed the mission tree and restored the latin empire. However history will remember me for selecting the monastic breweries reform and brewing the best holy beer in the world.)
To commemorate 1001 hours, I got 1001 provinces.
Who told them?!
Which achievement should I aim for with this 1503 controlled dev France?
A Naples not in Naples and a Hungary not in Hungary, just your average EU4 playthrough.

There are just so fucking many of them. You can beat them in battle easily enough

Which yo just can't. I think Horde's have some sort of movement bonus or something? Their armies are fucking uncatchable so you're running around all of Russia left to right top to bottom while taking massive attrition.

And they just have so much fucking land you need to siege down which all takes attrition as well.

And god fucking help you have mercy on your soul if they engage you on a plains province.

How do you make going to war against Horde's not fucking wreck your country?
