POV: You have to reinforce some troops in eu4

You're the new developer of Paradox. They wanted you to bring a new feature to the Eu4. What would it be?

My choice would be GODDAMN buying provinces. Total wars had it, countries sometimes sell it, albeit rarely. How come there's no buying option

New Flanders Tree! Flavor Universalis IX: Stardust Explorers!

    Posted: 18 Sep 2021 06:12 AM PDT

G'day! I hope you are doing well :) Today we will discuss and look into a beautiful new tree for Flanders!
Check out the mod on the workshop HERE
Join the Community on Discord HERE

    • The top part of the tree deals with the subjugation / conquest of the Low Countries as well as resolving the matter of Calais on the Western border (diplomatically or militarily)
    • By enacting the Heropbouw Edict, you will gain access to various beautifully flavorful missions about the restoration of the Flemish urban centres, the expansion of their warehouse marketplaces and the expansion of the cloth trade.

A very aesthetic and fun tree!

So right off the bat, Flanders will be tossed in an era of uncertainty and peril, by the passing of Philip the Good and the ascension of Charles (the not so good)

the mission equivalent of \"Charles sucks, I'm out!\"

Arm yourself with allies, a tech boost and seek diplomatic relations with your neighbours as you raise a special new mercenary army to defend your lands!

    Fancy

Much like the Holland tree, the Flanders tree will conclude with the formation of the Netherlands. However, the mission 'Princely Diplomacy' will offer you the potential to diplomatically vassalize the Union subjects of Burgundy which is quite difficult to achieve BUT will make your conquest missions much easier!

    Dutch Dikes!

Not to mention that trees such as Holland or Flanders will have modifiers that will change later as you form Netherlands

    Dynamic modifiers!

However, the bottom right side of the tree is why I will say that I really like the Flemish tree!

    No more poor uniforms!

Lastly, Flanders may gain access to a new personality trait for your ruler should you complete the following mission via the Burghers:

The trait will grant 15% Trade Efficiency and 5% Goods Produced

As I've said before, nearly every single mission has unique mechanics and dynamic / cool rewards and I leave it up to you, to discover them on your own and experience and amazingly flavorful playthrough!

Take care, stay safe and maybe take a nice walk before Autumn sets in!
