Paradox needs to fix North American Natives.

    Posted: 06 Aug 2021 12:59 PM PDT

Colonization of North America was chill and fun in older patches, with a few wars here and there but mostly actual colonization. Now, you have to rush to grab 5 provinces in Florida to create colonial America, then it's endless wars, and you can't even take many provinces due to ghost development. Switching back to 1.30 doesn't sound enticing, because keeping all of my current saves and being able to colonize NA is a better alternative. South America is currently the colonization meta, because of the tribes barely reforming there, but playing North American colonial games without having to no CB natives would be fun. I've never played natives, so whatever was buffed needs to be reverted in the next patches.

Is there a reason (nearly) every country starts with 29.99% crownland?

    Posted: 06 Aug 2021 03:06 AM PDT

I though this was a bug initially caused by not having Emperor when the estates were reworked, but recently I got the DLC subscription to try All DLC EU4 and......it's still there!

There has to be a reason for this right? The game literally starts you with 50% loyalty with all of your estates most of the time so that you can take land when booting up the game without any penalties.

It seems almost specifically designed as to make players interact with the new estates system, but not negatively impact a player who chooses not to, since the crownland will naturally hit 30 the first time any development is added to your country, be it through conquest or developing, and then left in because there's really no reason to get rid of it. Heck, it reminds players to set their estate privileges at the start of every game

But my gut says it was a floating point precision error...that has been left in out of laziness.

How does one start playing Multiplayer ?

    Posted: 06 Aug 2021 01:30 PM PDT

Hey all, I'm a long time single player only, but recently I really wanted to experience multiplayer, problem is my friends don't play this game, and I don't know really anyone in the community except the big streamers. How does one meet new people that are "beginner" friendly and start playing multiplayer ?
