New easiest world conquest strat? Posted: 01 Feb 2021 03:23 AM PST Step 1: Start as Ming. Step 2 : Get exploration ideas and colonize your way down to Australia, ensuring each colonized province is coastally adjacent to another one. Step 3 : When Ming Australia forms, feed it all your land. Step 4: Release and play as Ming Australia. Step 5 : Conquer Tibet and convert to Vajrayana Step 6 : Form Tibet and do the Steppe politics mission by either allying or conquering a horde. Step 7 : Become a horde after completing the mission. Step 8 : Profit! You can form Qing, Yuan, or even Manchu from this position, just make sure to convert away from Vajrayana because currently it is a pretty terrible religion. [link] [comments]

There should be more monarch-related events. Posted: 01 Feb 2021 08:57 AM PST I think in EU4, if you're playing a monarchy, it is quite easy to keep the same dynasty you start with. While it isn't a problem, for a quite realistic historical game I feel it is inaccurate. Not every nation in the world is Austria, not every nation can keep the same dynasty. For example, Great Britain has at least 10 dynasties. In the games I played, the most I saw GB switch dynasties is twice. *So how should we fix this?* First of all, I think I should mention that "The count's feud" and "War of the roses" are great examples of dynasty-related events. However, I think there should be more. For example, like an assasination of the monarch or 2 sons fighting for the throne. For example, in my campaign as Russia, I thought it would be pretty neat to later in game unlock the ability to pick an heir, which is what Peter the First made sure was the case during his reign. Also, in most campaigns, pretender rebels *at most* are a nuisance, at least for me (I play on normal mode, I do not know if it is a challenge on Hard mode). Maybe, for example, the pretender could be supported by my nation's rivals. This happened exactly when the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth supported a pretender to the Russian throne, who then won, and later got assassinated. Often in EU4, the worst thing that can happen if your monarch dies is either a noble from a nation you have a royal marriage with rises to the throne, or you enter a personal union. Maybe there should be a "Succesion Crisis" disaster, where a country is embroiled in a civil war, as your vassals/colonies abuse the instability to fight for independence. I think there's a lot of room for monarch "hijinks" and various events, coups and other stuff. [link] [comments]

Anyone who has played Provence, how are they? They seem SUPER cool on paper. Posted: 01 Feb 2021 12:31 PM PST Please correct me if I'm wrong, but they seem insane mission-wise:
...And France is STILL not an end-game tag. Does anyone know of any youtubers who have done the above? Would love to see how. [link] [comments]
