Posted: 27 Jan 2021 07:43 AM PST Example, in my game as Persia right now, France pu'd Aragon and integrated them. It would be a neat detail if instead of just being "France" with the French flag like normal, there was an opportunity to rename your nation at a cost of prestige or something to be "France-Aragon", get a new flag like so, and lastly, grab one or two ideas from the integrated nation and replace your own countries ideas with them (with some exceptions, like not having two discipline ideas at the same time). Would be a cool change to see as it would offer some flavor and also a cool new mechanic to the game. Would also maybe clean up some chances for border-gore to occur in the map. Maybe add something similar for nations conquering new territory? Like tie ideas to culture, and if you promote a culture, you can slowly swap out an idea for one of the nations you conquered. Would be cool to see what changes you see evolve in your game. Could also be hilariously OP. Probably. But still an interesting thought. Post was mainly about the first paragraph though, this is just an afterthought. edit** talking to a friend brough up another version of a combined flag. This would be the above combination with a coat of arms unique to the original nation, that would show who the parent nation was. So for example something like this. [link] [comments] | ||
