    Here are my issues:

    • -3 stab for declaring war against the shogun sucks, due to the independant Daimyo reform basically halfing your government capacity and giving you a massive stab cost modifier, meaning you'll sit at high unrest until you take the shogunate
    • war against the shogun sucks because if you don't do any blitzstrats Ashikaga will have blobbed out decently. For example, here's the situation in Japan before my war for the shogunate in my last attempt - as you can see, even almost 40 decades later I'm still busy with finishing off Ashikaga. And not because the wars are hard or anything, in fact they are stupidly onesided, but because of warscore limitations. Either buff the War for the Shogunate CB so that you can more or less annex Ashikaga in a single war, or give the Shogun a "Unite Japan" CB against Japanese tags that are not his subjects.
    • a decent chunk of the Japanese missions is locked behind the "Balance the Four Divisions" mission, which requires at least 2 estates to be over 70 loyalty. I've yet to see any estate across all my 1.30 games hit 70 loyalty
    • make Colonialism easier to get spreading for actual colonial powers outside the big 4 of western Europe. A CN is way too much to get progress ticking - by late 1539 my colonist is on his way to establish the third colony in the Americas. And I need Colonialism embraced before 1550. Perhaps +0.10 spread (in a 10 dev province) for every fully colonized province in the Americas in all of your ports, unless you have a CN.
