Missions Expanded Dev Diary 04.04.2021 The Tree Sicilies

Hey everyone!I hope y'all are having a wonderful Easter!

Despite the jolly times, we will still carry on with the dev diaries, and today it shall be the Naples, Sicily and Two Sicilies in the lime light!Without further ado, let's get right into it.

    The Content

Ciao ragazzi and welcome back to another Italian DD :)

Today we are going to take a look al Regno di Sicilia, all three of them: Sicilia Citeriore (Naples) Sicilia Ulteriore (Sicily) ed il Regno delle due Sicilie (The Two Sicilies)

The key difference between the tree of the Kingdom of Naples and the one of Sicily is in the approach, which is more trade, naval and diplomatic or more militaristic and direct towards the common goals depending on who you pick:- Reunification of the Two Sicilies under one flag- Subjugation of the common enemies that have rivalled and ruined the independence of the Norman kingdoms- Creation of a proper Kingdom

    https://preview.redd.it/skq2rc84w7r61.png?width=2273&format=png&auto=webp&s=601552978564753bd06d4b9e19b4fcd451e34877

The Blooming of Art that occurred during the Renaissance in both kingdoms was a sprout of beauty long forgotten and unseen, with great artists from all the backgrounds coming to the respective courts to best serve the prestigious and multicultural courts of the Kingdoms.

    https://preview.redd.it/zrbfbf47w7r61.png?width=1037&format=png&auto=webp&s=b7a63657340d8ba09184b5e273ab0bcc9558bfa0

Either by skilled and careful diplomacy or by might, shall the reunification of the thrones of old commence. That unification will bring forth huge temporary power to our house.( left will always be Naples and right Sicily, unless specified in other ways])

Thus the construction and improvement of key important cities of the Kingdom will be vital to strengthen the potential of your campaign!

These are a few reforms, available thanks to Government Expanded to give more flavour to your campaign:

Small addendum: Constitution of Melfi [Tier 8 Reform] gives +10% Estate Loyalty while your legitimacy is above 90.

So remember to subscribe to the entire Expanded Family to get the full experience!(a few events for both countries utilise the Brother Kingdom from Subject Expanded)

Speaking about Flavour and other mods, here are some events, available to both Naples and TTS to cover and add some more spice to your campaign :)

As always, your feedback is most welcome and I'll wait for you to tell me if some modifiers/rewards feel too weak or strong.

Alla prossima, ragazzi (:PS: While writing this I've noticed a few mistype here and there, but I might have not seen them all, so please let us know in the comments!

Is the prussian op military really justified in eu4s time period ?

    Posted: 04 Apr 2021 01:03 AM PDT

Ok so im not a historian but what did Prussia actually do from 1701 - 1821 to justify their military being that op i mean ok they won the silesian wars but then lost the 7 years war and only survived because the russian emperor chose not to destroy the prussian state and then got dunked on by napoleon a couple times only in the middle 19th century they would become the military powerhouse so idk it seems kinda fan service to me to make them that op
