The AI gets a lot of unnecessary perks like bypassing ZOC for forts, but the worst of all is their ability to see through the fog of war.

The AI can set up elaborate military positioning to bait your armies into a losing fight, but it cannot be done on the defensive because the AI can see right through the FOW. As soon as I get my armies into position to attack, the AI instantly knows and just runs away despite there being no reason for the AI to know that my larger armies are a hidden a tile away, in the FOW.

The ZOC I can deal with, but how the fuck am I supposed to guerrilla tactic the enemy when they know exactly where my men are? Before anyone asks, I am not even in the age where you can infiltrate administration. Which begs the question, what's the point of that covert relation if the AI won't ever need it?
