    Revolutionary Frankfurt - Or the worst tricolor flag ive seen so far

    Historically the greater German solution or even the one with all german speaking areas was debated in Frankfurt and since we all know that that didnt work out that well in 1848/49 at the Frankfurt national assembly I decided to take matters into my own hands ;)

    1500: Nothing really happend, had a bad start with no real allies or opportunities but at least Austria got the inheritance so thats good.

    1550: Made some progress and somehow Poland became emperor and part of the empire.

    1600: Finally made some progress which was halted by coalitions and alliances with france or the uk. Also at this point the league wars were already concluded which left Ferrara as the emperor and 2 electors. Protestantism won even tho they were heavily outnumbered.

    1650: The alliances put me into a deadlock and hindered my expansion by a lot. Also the HRE became hereditary at this point with Pommerania as the permanent Emperor due to a lack of electors. This blocked me from forming Germany early on since they were allies with the PLC and the Ottomans.

    1700: I was able to to eliminate some smaller deadlocks but the HRE made it very slow to expand.

    1720: I used the spare time and triggered the revolution which almost dragged me into a huge coalition war since all my allies left my side during the event. By doubling my standing army to 200k I was able to endure the few critical years however. Luckily Russia called me in a defensive war against Pommerania soon after and my quick sieges enabled me to get Rostock and Berlin to make forming Germany an option. This also helped me remove a lot of alliances which opened the door for more.

    1740: By unleashing the power of the revolution combined with absolutism I fought two large scale wars against the PLC and Austria to reclaim more of the core lands.

    1740: Soon after that I formed Germany and planned further expansion to include more German lands.

    1779: After surviving a mega coalition and getting all the desired lands I decided to free the balcans and establish an outpost in Riga.

    1820: With a standing army of 1.600.000 and almost 4k primary culture development the game came to a conclusion.

    All in all it was a quite refreshing playthrough and the first time I really triggered the revolution on purpose. Now that I experienced it myself I wish I would have tried it before :D
