    Should I always go reformed?

    Posted: 09 Oct 2019 04:55 AM PDT

I think when comparing protestant and reformed, reformed comes as the better religion, mainly due to the +2 tolerance of hererics. Mixed with humanist or french ideas you easely get to +3 tolerance and you can just ignore religion in Europe.

And with Church power and fervor bonuses being of the same strenght (with Church power being more flexible but fervor more potent) i think that the only real setback in going reformed instead of protestant is that you can't become the HRE emperor (expect in case of peace).

So my question is, did I miss something or is reformed really the best religion of the two?
