    Missions Expanded Dev Diary 13.10.2019 Kurdistan

    Hey Folks! I'm u/Stiopa866, the lead developer of Missions Expanded, and today I'll be talking about one of the new mission trees that are coming. I know that this isn't the most interesting, nor is it the most expansive dev diary that we have ever done, but we are in process of scripting new trees that aren't really ready to be showed yet. Also, hard times came upon many of us, limiting our free time, but I believe we should be back in full swing soon. Now, without further ado, let's get right into it.

    Kurdish Generic Mission Tree

    Every Kurdish Minor besides Hisn Kayfa receives this new mission tree, which focuses on breaking the shackles and becoming a force to be reckoned with. It also seeks to guide the nation to forming Kurdistan, which then gives the state a choice to pick an expansion to the tree focused around expanding either to Egypt or Persia. Paradox did not give the Kurds much thought, as Bitlis, Ardalan and Soran games are unattractive as they all start as vassals or as releasables. Furthermore, the nations get little to no flavor, which I hope the mission tree will change.

    When you've completed many of the missions focused around achieving independence, you will gain access to Rise of Kurdistan mission. It has the following requirements and rewards:

    The list may vary depending on how many cities does Kurdish culture have in your game. Similar mechanic is used in the Great Insurgence mission.
